Two separate forest fires have broken out since Sunday in southwest China's Yunnan Province, the fires have engulfed a combined area of 130 hectares.
The provincial forest fire control department said Tuesday that as both fires were at such a high altitude in Lanping County they were extremely difficult to contain. So far, no residential areas are in the line of fire.
More than 800 people are trying to contain the fires.
Police are investigating the fires.
