At least 18 people were killed and 18 others injured after a fire broke out at a foot spa on Sunday afternoon in Tiantai County, Zhejiang Province.
Some of those trapped inside tried to escape by jumping out of windows as firefighters were working to put out the blaze and rescue people.
The foot spa, named Zuxintang Foot Massage Parlor, caught on fire at about 5:26 p.m. and it was put out at around 7 p.m., according to local authorities.
The cause of the incident is being investigated.
