Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party (CPWDP), one of the country's eight non-communist political parties, convened its Fifth Plenary Session of its 15th Central Committee.
Attendees studied the Sixth Plenary Session of the 18th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), and deliberated CPWDP's work report for 2016.
Chen Zhu, chairman of the CPWDP Central Committee, said the party focused on the "Healthy China" and "Beautiful China" concepts, making a number of policy suggestions on environmental protection and healthcare.
