Japan's hit animated youth-fantasy film Your Name is set to meet Chinese audiences next weekend.
It has earned 19 billion yen in Japan, or about 171 million U.S. dollars since it was released in August.
It has made director Makoto Shinkai the second anime director to have a film reaching the 10 billion yen threshold, behind the famed Miyazaki Hayao.
The story of Your Name follows two high school students who constantly switches roles and have to adjust their lives accordingly.
It has already broken box office records in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Observers expect it will fetch more than 1 billion yuan, or 145 million U.S. dollars, on the Chinese mainland.
