Movie legends Michael Douglas and Jeremy Renner enthused about the warm hospitality they have received on their first visit to China, and both expressed a desire to return to make a movie. The Hollywood stars are on the tropical island of Hainan for the 2016 Mission Hills World Celebrity Pro-Am.

Stars from sport and entertainment have gathered in Mission Hills for World Celebrity Pro-Am, which runs from Oct. 21 to 23.

Oscar winner Michael Douglas commented: "Everyone has been so warm and so friendly. I get very excited about golf - it's like sneaking out of school!"

"We will be visiting the film studios at Mission Hills Movie Town tomorrow. Movies are a wonderful international language so I hope I have the opportunity to be back here," Douglas added.

Nominated for his role in The Hurt Locker, Renner compared Hainan to Maui in Hawaii where he used to live. "This is a beautiful spot with so many palm trees! I thought 'wow' when I got here and I only wish I had brought my family" he said.

"There are many possibilities that I will shoot a movie in China some time. I'm shooting another Mission Impossible with Tom Cruise so we may be here next year. If that benefits China then it's a win-win," he added.
