Wu Gencun, the owner of Ada Scallion Pancake in Shanghai, recently reached a cooperative agreement with an online food ordering company. This development occurs after, two weeks ago, Wu was forced to suspend his business because of licensing issues.

The online food ordering company contacted the Market Supervision and Management Bureau of Shanghai's Huangpu district to express their willing to support Wu's business. The company will help to select a suitable location, not far from the previous one, to provide better operating conditions for Ada Scallion Pancake.

Wu expressed his thanks for support from the government and media outlets, promising that his pancakes will remain unchanged in price, flavor and quality.

Operating since 1982, Ada Scallion Pancake became famous after the BBC filmed a segment about Wu's popular pancakes for a documentary called "Taste of Shanghai."
