6. Chang'e parade at Gubei Water Town

Gubei Water Town surrounds the beautiful Mandarin Duck Lake Reservoir and leans against the Simatai Great Wall in Miyun district in Beijing. Regarded as "Wuzhen in Beijing", Gubei Water Town is a rare natural old town with mountains, water and ancient villages.

During the festival , the water town will stage performances including lion dance, Chang'e (the moon goodness) parade, moon sacrifice ceremony, river lantern blessing and garden party.

Admission: 150 yuan/per head

7. Fenghuangling children's concert

An interactive concert themed around children will be staged at Fenghuangling (Phoenix Ridge) on the western outskirts of Beijing. Children's songs from the past 30 years and other various activities will entertain children and their parents during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Admission: 220 yuan/per head

Location: Fenghuangling Natural Scenic Spot (Sujiatuo town, Haidian district)

8. Mutianyu Great Wall

The great wall will hold a series of activities include a tourism forum, high-end wine party, mooncake DIY, band performance, and open-air cinema.

Admission: 45 yuan/per head
