From ceramic whales and starfish to photos of ocean scenes, the ongoing Ocean Seasons art exhibition at Beijing's Four Seasons hotel is looking to bring the ocean to the landlocked capital.

Organized by LD. ART, the exhibition features works from Chinese artists Li Nannan, Tie Ying, Jia Peng, Li Yong and Xia Hang as well as South Korean artist Sul Park.

Li Nannan, well-known for aquatic-themed works, brings the ceramic artworks feature marine life that have been the centerpiece of her career.

Jia introduces a Japanese approach to ink paintings with his painting series at the exhibition, while Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts and Central Academy of Fine Arts graduate Xia brings a collection of sculptures that he describes as "fun" to the mix.

The exhibition will run until September 26.
