Together with Israel's President Reuven Rivlin and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the former president of Israel Shimon Peres announced on July 21 the launching of the Israel Innovation Center.

The Israel Innovation Center is located at the Peres Center for Peace in Tel Aviv-Jaffa. It will showcase the history of Israeli innovation, its current development and its future outlook. Through the exhibition of these achievements, the center will facilitate innovation and creativity while accelerating the progress of world peace and social development.

"There are no boundaries for innovation. Jews, Muslims and Christians may all participate equally. We will ignite every child's imagination and help them achieve their dreams," said Peres.

"My friends from China, I invite you to become our partners in this innovation center. The future calls for us to fly higher than we have and make our life better than it is. I think we are the best partners considering our past and present interests in making the world a better place," Peres said in a video invitation sent to Chinese partners.

The center will be opened officially in 2018.
