Artist Wang Min, 41, likes drawing with bright colors and a sense of humor in her watercolors.

She portrays a sample of everyday life and by doing so, she discusses issues of urbanization and one-to-one relationship, such as the heavy traffic jams and people in fights.

Underneath a peaceful, joyful feeling of her works, she warns the viewers of the distorted values of today that are making people depressed and violent.

Her solo exhibition, titled Mysterious Silence, is ongoing at Beijing's Mingtai Space through July 17.
