A second firefighter has died on Thursday evening after fighting a four-alarm fire raging for more than two days at an industrial building in Kowloon Bay.

The dead man was 37, and was surnamed Hui. No further details were available for now.

The firefighter was carried out of the Amoycan Industrial Center in the evening along with two colleagues, who are in serious condition. They were taken to the United Christian hospital.

The fire broke out on Tuesday morning at a multi-storey industrial building in Hong Kong's East Kowloon area. It was upgraded to No. 4 alarm on Tuesday night and has claimed two lives.

Senior station officer Thomas Cheung died on Tuesday after losing consciousness while battling the fire.

At least 12 other firefighters have been hurt so far, and the fire is yet to be contained.
