As of March 8, foreigners will be able to make online reservations to apply for visas, according to the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, the Beijing Daily reported.
Foreigners will be able to log into the official website of the bureau's Exit and Entry Administration, fill in their personal information, download and print application forms, and make an appointment to visit the office of the Exit and Entry Administration, in Beijing.
Port visa applications will also be available online. The on-site service location for port visas is at the Beijing Capital International Airport's Port Exit and Entry Office.
