Shuttle buses bump into each other on airport apron in Shanghai Pudong

Several airport shuttle buses bumped into each other on the apron of the Pudong International Airport last night, officials said.

No one was injured.

A luggage tow truck hit a shuttle bus at 7:39pm, causing a pileup with two other vehicles, the Shanghai Airport Authority said in a statement.

There were no passengers onboard, but some of the luggage on the truck fell on the ground.

A video footage released on the internet showed luggage scattered on the ground and the shuttle buses damaged.

The airport said the incident did not affect flights. There was however flight delays due to heavy fog and low cloud cover.
