One of the oldest buildings on the Bund has celebrated its third anniversary after being renovated into a fashion and boutique center in Shanghai.
The Bund 22, originally built in 1906 for foreign banking institution Swire Pacific, has been renovated and reopened to include tailored brands, "arty cultures" and restaurants.
The building also announced to cooperate with female social network brand Camelliae that sells luxury products online.
Dozens of high-end clothing and jewelry brands have opened stores in the building, including custom-made gowns brand Guo Pei, French wedding dress Aolisha and Chinese jewelry brand C-Jewelry, according to Bund22 CEO Michelle Lee.
More fashion and cultural activities will be held in the historic building this year after the celebration, an official with the Bund 22 said today.
The historic building was originally designed by Davies and Thomas, Civil Engineers and was originally constructed by Swire Pacific Limited of England. It is the only century-old red-brick building on the Bund
