About 300 firefighters were struggling Sunday night to quench a forest fire near the scenic city of Dali in southwest China's Yunnan Province, local authorities said.
Seven fire engines have been dispatched to the mountain forest, said the firefighters, who received the report of the blaze at about 8:25 p.m.
No further details were provided.
