On the sidelines of the SCO meeting, Prime Minister Sharif will have a bilateral meeting with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, in which issues of mutual interest will be discussed, the Foreign Ministry said.

SCO is an important organization founded in Shanghai in 2001. Its member-states include China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Pakistan, an observer state of the SCO, is completing relevant procedures to become SCO's full member and is coordinating efforts with the SCO Secretariat and the SCO's founding member countries in that regard, a Foreign Ministry statement said.
