Five people died on Sunday after a gas poisoning incident in east China's Shandong Province, local government said.
The incident happened at 5:50 p.m. in a stainless steel company in Zouping County. Another 12 people were hospitalized, with five still in critical conditions, according to a statement from the local government.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
