Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao met with Argentine Vice President and head of the Senate Amado Boudou on Thursday.

Li said China is willing to work with Argentina to implement the consensus reached by the leaders of two countries.

Chinese President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Argentina last year and the two countries established a comprehensive strategic partnership.

Li called on the two sides to keep frequent visits, deepen strategic trust, expand friendly cooperation and strengthen people-to-people exchanges to promote bilateral ties.

Amado Boudou said Argentina attaches great importance to the ties with China and stands ready to promote mutually beneficial cooperation.

Boudou visit to China began on Wednesday and will last through Saturday.
