Sales of train tickets for "chunyun," or the 40-day Spring Festival travel period, will open today, the railway authority said yesterday.
The peak of ticket-purchasing is expected to appear at the beginning of December. The tickets will be available online, by phone or mobile phone apps.
The travel period has been called the largest annual human migration in the world.
