Chinese President Xi Jinping will attend the tenth summit of the Group of Twenty (G20) on Nov. 14-16 in Antalya, Turkey. The total 1(gross domestic product) of the 20 member states accounts for 90 percent of the global economy and 80 percent of the world's trade volume.

Xi's participation reflects Beijing's endorsement of G20 cooperation. China will continue to promote the world's economic growth, reform, as well as governance.[Special coverage]

Xi will elaborate his views on the world's economic situation, advance cooperation to address challenges, and jointly explore new impetus for economic growth.

President Xi will brief participants on Beijing's measures to deepen reform and advance economic restructuring in accordance with China's 13th Five-year Plan (2016-20), and report China's ideas on the 2016 G20 Summit and communicate with other member states.

Prior to the summit, Xi will attend a meeting of leaders of BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries, to deliver a speech calling for more collaboration on common development.

China will also hold bilateral meetings with some countries and exchange views on bilateral relationships and international issues concerned by both parties.

The G20 themed, "joint action to achieve inclusive and healthy development" will discuss the global economic situation, inclusive growth, international monetary system reform, trade, resources, anti-corruption and more.

China supports Turkey hosting the summit and will work with other member states to boost economic growth as the priority task and to inspire confidence in realizing a new round of mechanisms.

China will join efforts of other member states to address the risks to long-term economic governance and adopt a responsible macroeconomic policy, which can bring a positive spillover effect for other countries to achieve inclusive development.

The economic fundamentals of China are good. Even if the outside environment is complex and structural adjustments are arduous, the economic growth rate for the first three quarters in China still reached 6.9 percent and its contribution rate to global economic growth stood at 30 percent.

Moreover, a recently released proposal on China's 13th Five-Year Plan (2016-20), sets a target of "maintaining medium-high growth" for the nation, highlighting innovation, coordination, green development, opening-up and sharing.

The theme of G20 shares a similarity with China's economic transition target and the "new normal" initiative and the whole world is looking forward to China's proposals. As the host country of 2016 G20 Summit, China is expected to offer a plan to boosting the steady and healthy growth of the global economy.
