The colors of Nature are providing inspiration for hair and make-up at China Fashion Week. And Chinese Opera looks are also in play. Let's meet the "Night Goddess" and the "Nymph of the Luo River".
The looks come in three different color palettes: "Night Goddess" is based in blue and purple; "Auspicious Cloud" is themed in orange; and "The Nymph of the River Luo" features red.
Meanwhile, the lifted eyebrows and high hair buns of traditional Chinese Opera inspire this look, entitled "A Stunning Glimpse of Beauty".
This set is composed of hair styles symbolizing flames, the glow of sunset, and the mythical Iris flower. It's all about combining the beauty of Nature with the beauty of Woman.
During this year's China Fashion Week, 73 designers will showcase their designs for next season. Meanwhile, 135 up-and-coming talents will compete for coveted awards in various categories. China's top fashion award, the Golden Thimble, will be announced next Monday night at the close.
