Motorcyclist travels Beijing's 2nd Ring Road in 13 minutes

A video of a motorcyclist racing in the dead of night on Beijing's Second Ring Road, which is 32.7 kilometers around, in 13 minutes, 43 seconds has gone viral online.

The 30-year-old motorcyclist, surnamed Pang, from Yulin, Southwest China' Guangxi province, was recorded by a camera mounted on his helmet at around 2 am on Aug 22, Modern Express reported.

He reportedly put the video online and claimed to reach the highest speed, 237 kilometers per hour, during the drive.

The speed limit on the Second Ring Road is 80 kilometers per hour and motorcycles are not allowed.

The case is under investigation.
