Movie fans would remember this scenario from the film Forrest Gump (1994) very well. During an interview with John Lennon, the famous rock star, Forrest said that during his trip to China he found out that Chinese did not save money in the bank. Lennon, sitting beside and lighting a cigarette, said Chinese people had "no possession".

However, 20 years have passed. Now the lost female astronaut in the movie Gravity used a rescue capsule to reach Chinese space station Tiangong, and then got back to Earth on Chinese Shenzhou spacecraft.In the past 36 years since China and the U.S. established diplomatic ties, the progress of relations from suspicion and testing to mutual trust and win-win cooperation is not only visible in movies but also in culture, education, politics and economy.
