China's aviation authorities reiterated its security regulations on Wednesday to remind passengers to keep their behavior in check following a slew of incidents.

According to an online announcement by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), activities including blocking and assaulting check-in counter clerks, unauthorized entry into the parking apron and the runway, and destruction of airport protective facilities, are all strictly prohibited.

Assaulting crew members, opening the emergency hatch without permission, carrying dangerous instruments and fabricating false terrorist information are also forbidden.

Those who found to violate any of these rules will be punished severely or held criminally liable, according to the announcement.

There have been 15 incidents since late July involving the unauthorized opening of hatches and flight arson attempt by passengers, according to CAAC data.
