Cultural immersion is on the agenda during school summer holidays.
The Danzhou Academy, in south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is reviving ancient Chinese classics, but with some innovative teaching methods.
Meanwhile, more than 10-thousand students from around the country have come to Qingdao City, in east China's Shandong Province, for a national school festival of wind instruments.
Hosted by the Chinese Musicians Association and the Qingdao government, the festival was first mounted in 2012. It includes master classes, live concerts, and a national competition, and is now regarded as one of the best platforms for young musicians to showcase their talents and learn from established artists.
