Wine can be called the 'water of history' because stories on wine are found in almost every period of the country's long history. Undoubtedly, wine occupies an important place in the culture and life of the Chinese people.

The "Old Wine Museum" has opened in one of Beijing's traditional culture streets on Yan Dai Xie Jie ( in downtown Beijing. ) There are about 330 kinds of wine brands displayed at the museum. But among them, the most important and acclaimed one is the "double happiness" bottle. This bottle was from the Qing dynasty during Emperor Kangxi years and dates back to over three hundred years ago. So far it's been very well preserved. Organizers hope the museum can help promote the old wine culture in the country.
