Authorities in Central China were trapped in a dilemma and determined to spend millions of yuan to solve it.

A nearly complete illegal 4-story academic building of a primary school was relocated at the cost of more than 2 million yuan ($322,347), in Zhumadian, Central China's Henan province, on Thursday.

The building, which is spread over 3,251 square meters and weighs more than 6,000 tons, was built without legal permission on public land.

To avoid disturbing the school students, the local government decided to relocate it 15 meters west and 8.5 meters south instead of demolition the whole structure.
