CBA: Yi scores 38 points to help Guangdong smash Beijing

Yi Jianlian had 38 points and 15 rebounds to help Guangdong won ninth straight game by rolling over defending champion Beijing 122-98 in 2014-15 Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) league on Wednesday.

Will Bynum, the former Pistons point guard,destroyed Beijing's defence with his great passing ability and vision.He managed 24 points and 14 assits for the vengeance of Guangdong, who was defeated by Beijing 89-103 in the opening game of this season.

Randolph Morris led the Beijing with 35 points and 12 rebounds,but the former CBA MVP Stephon Marbury scored only 8 points with 2 of 10 from the field. [ Guangdong shot out to a quick 12-point lead in the first quarter that was increased to 63-47 at halftime.Beijing came out in the second half and failed to find a way to comeback.The defending champion trailed as many as 26 points in the final quarter.

"It is just a regular game, it didn't really prove anything.No matter win or lose, we need to stay clam and keep improving ourselves in offence and defence."said Yi Jianlian.

The league-leading Liaoning downed Foshan 117-107 with a balance attack that included six players scoring in double digits.

Lester Hudson took 25 points, 12 assists and 7 rebounds while Han Dejun grabed 15 points and 15 rebounds.He Tianju and Guo Ailun finished with 24 and 21 respectively.

Andray Blatche,who played for Brooklyn Nets in NBA last season,led contributed 25 points, 18 rebounds,6 assists and 6 steal to gave Xinjiang a easy victory 108-81 over Sichuan.

In Wednesday's other games,Shanghai overwhelmed Zhejiang 129-101,Shanxi crushed Chongqing 130-103, Jilin edged Dongguan 120-116, Tianjin beat Fujian 110-101, Shandong smashed Jiangsu 117-94, Guangsha downed Bayi 110-104.
