Mongolia's Hormokhan wins China-Mongolia teenager soccer tournament

Mongolia's Hormokhan team won the China-Mongolia teenager five-a-side football tournament on Tuesday in Erenhot, north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.

There were three Chinese teams and two from Mongolia attending the tournament.

In the final, Hormokhan beat China's Baotou Jianjiang Club 6-3.

Erenhot, bordering Mongolia, has been a bridgehead for China's economic, trade and cultural ties with its neighbor.

In July, China's education ministry laid out plans to establish football tournaments in primary, junior and high schools as well as colleges.
