Unbeaten Liaoning extended the winning streak to 17, thanks to Lester Hudson's 17 points in the final quarter of their 100-95 victory over Shandong here on Wednesday.

Shandong's 8-0 run in one minute in the final period cut the score difference to two points, but Hudson answered with a big three after the timeout.

Hudson made five 3-pointers and 17 of his 33 points in the final quarter to lead Liaoning. He also contributed six rebounds, five steals and seven assists.

Eugene Jeter led Shandong with a game-high 36 points but Shandong only had nine assists in the match, 13 less than Liaoning did.

Zhou Qi dominated the paint as Xinjiang's rising star scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to beat Iranian center Hamed Ehadadi, who took 20 points and 10 rebounds for Qingdao. Xinjiang won the match 112-104 and snapped Qingdao's winning streak at six.

Zhejiang committed 44 fouls in their 111-129 loss to Dongguan. Five Zhejiang players fouled out and Dongguan was rewarded with 65 free throw attempts, which both made new records in CBA history.

"We don't think we had any chance to win the game in the final minutes, so why don't we foul?" complained Zhang Yongjun, Zhejiang's head coach. "No matter you fouled or not, the referee will make a call."

In Wednesday's other matches, Shanghai beat Sichuan 101-80; Shanxi defeated Fujian at 128-109; Bayi succumbed to Guangdong 76-116; Guangsha beat Jiangsu 109-101; Jilin won over Tianjin 117-102; Beijing overcame Tongxi 121-112.
