A coal mine explosion has killed 11 people in southwest China's Guizhou province.
The accident happened in Songhe Town in Pan County. When the mine exploded, 19 people were working underground and eight of them managed to survive. Rescue work is ongoing and the cause of the explosion is being investigated.
The mine explosion was reported one day after a coal mine fire killed 24 workers in northeast China's Liaoning province.
