Road accident kills 12 in E China

Twelve people died and three were injured in a collision between two vehicles in east China's Shandong Province, local authorities said on Wednesday.

The accident happened around 8 a.m. when a truck collided with a van in Chaoshui Township of Penglai City. Twelve people were killed. The three injured are being treated in hospital.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
