Hong Kong's Center for Health Protection conducted an Ebola drill in a Tsim Sha Tsui guesthouse, in an effort to review their preparedness for handling the virus, it said here on Thursday.
The exercise scenario involved a traveler from an Ebola- affected country who fell ill after checking in at the guesthouse.
The center's Infection Control Branch monitored the use of protective equipment by field officers and management office staff, as well as infection control measures.
The drill tested co-ordination between the Department of Health and the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department in field investigation and disinfection.
