The conditions of the two Hong Kong tourists who got injured in the snow blizzards in northern Nepal were not serious, doctors said on Thursday.

The two Hong Kongers, identified as Rita Chanyuet and WTN Wongkaiman, were diagnosed with frost bite by doctors at the Nepal Army hospital.

According to Nepal police, at least 24 people have reportedly died in the snowstorm and avalanche that took place in the famous Annapurna Circuit on Tuesday and more than 100 trekkers including Nepalese and foreigners are still missing.

It is reported that as the weather cleared on Wednesday in the remote Mustang and Manang disctricts, the most popular trekking destination in Nepal along with Myagdi district, rescuers, trudging through waist-deep snow, found 22 stranded trekkers.

Personnel of the Nepal Army and police are on the site for search and rescue operations.
