Pregnant policewoman stabbed to death in Xinjiang

Two knife-wieldling motorcyclists attacked a public security bureau, killing a policewoman in Hotan Prefecture, Xinjiang, the media reported on Monday.

The attackers used sharp weapons to stab the policewoman to death, China Central Television (CCTV) said on its official microblog on Monday.

CCTV citied a colleague of the woman as saying she was two months' pregnant. The attack occurred on Friday near a market in Pishan county, in Hotan prefecture.
