One dead, four missing in C China boat capsizing

A shipman was killed and another four are missing after a boat loaded with sand capsized in central China's Hunan Province on Wednesday night, local authorities said Thursday.

The accident happened at about 9 p.m. in the East Dongting Lake in Yueyang County. A 62-year-old shipman was killed and another four were missing, according to the county maritime affairs administration.

Rescuers are still searching for the missing. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
