International scholars join Palace Museum

The Palace Museum recently announced the employment of the first batch of international scholars as consultants for its research institute, reported the Beijing Youth Daily.

The scholars include Lothar Ledderose, a German scholar and one of the top experts of Chinese art in the Western world, and Jessica Rawson, a sinologist and archaeologist from the UK.

The research institute of the Palace Museum plans to form an academic group to foster new generations of academics, and to promote the development of sinology in China.
