Uganda's team late on Tuesday left to take part in the 6th World Cup Woodball Championship slated for Sept. 5-11 at the Luneng Sanya Sports Centre in the town of Sanya, China.
Charles Bakkabulindi, minister of state for sports told the team at the flag-off ceremony exhibit high level of discipline while in China.
"We wish the team good performance in China," he said at the ceremony held at the Uganda Woodball Federation offices here.
The African continent will be represented at the World Cup by Uganda, Tanzania, Kenya, and Malawi. Over 20 teams including hosts China have confirmed their participation.
