Chinese FM to visit New Zealand, Australia

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will pay official visits to New Zealand and Australia from Sept. 4 to 8, a Foreign Ministry spokesman announced Friday.

Wang's upcoming visits are at the invitation of his New Zealand counterpart Murray Mccully and Australian counterpart Julie Bishop, spokesman Hong Lei said.

During his visit in Australia, the minister and Bishop will co-chair the second China-Australia diplomatic and strategic dialogue, Hong said.
