Hong Kong police have arrested 31 people and seized drugs worth more than 640,000 HK dollars (82,580 U.S. dollars) at two unlicensed bars on Minden Avenue and Carnavon Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.
Officers seized more than 500 grams of cocaine and more than 130 tablets of Class A drugs which are considered to be the most dangerous. A number of weapons were also seized, according to local police.
In the past three weeks, Hong Kong customs officers arrested seven passengers and seized 8.2 kg of drugs worth about 2.2 million HK dollars, the customs said here on Saturday.
The youngest passenger aged merely 14, according to the customs.
A drug trafficking conviction carries a maximum penalty of life imprisonment and a 5 million HK dollars' fine.
