7 peole drown as car found submerged in culvert

Seven people, including two minors, were found dead inside a sedan submerged in a railroad culvert in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong province, police said.

The Guangzhou city police announced they received calls at around 9am of Friday and the victims in the car were already dead when they arrived.

Preliminary forensic exam showed they all died from drowning.

An investigation is now under way.
