An employee of McDonald's China branch said the search to find a new credible vegetable supplier after the recent Husi Food scandal is still underway, the Beijing Youth Daily reported.

McDonald's and KFC were found selling expired meat supplied by the Husi Food in July. At present, it is still unknown whether Beijing's McDonalds restaurants will have the sufficient amount of vegetables for their products. Diners visiting a McDonald's restaurant in Sun Palace, Chaoyang district complained that their hamburgers were like the Chinese styled roujiamo sandwiches, which only have meat and sauces.
