Beijing No.1 Intermediate People's Court said that there would be an auction for the "Aeros 40D Sky Dragon" airship due to a sales contract dispute between Beret (Beijing) Airlines and Worldwide Aeros Corp in the US, the Beijing Youth Daily reported.

On August 15, the auction of the airship drew public attention when it appeared on the website of China Equity Exchange, which is responsible for the auction.

The airship is estimated to be worth 10.75 million yuan. No one has purchased the airship as of yet.

Airships are mainly used as vehicles for advertising in the sky. However, according to an industry insider in the civil aviation field, airships can hardly be used commercially in Beijing due to a large number of no-fly zones above the city.
