Trade Unions federation launch English-language website

An English-language website of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions went live on Wednesday, aiming to give a louder voice globally to Chinese trade unions.

"The English website will be a new window for us to show the improvement and progress of domestic trade unions to foreign countries," said Jiang Guangping, vice-president of the All-China Federation of Trade Unions, on Wednesday.

He said the website will help foreign countries understand the ongoing work in China's trade unions and offer better knowledge on current economic and social development in the country.

The English-language website was in preparation for eight months and has comprehensive information including news, exchanges with foreign countries and statistics on labor in China.
