Rewards for reports on drug-related crimes

The Beijing police have reported 926 drug-related criminal cases and arrested 963 suspects since the city launched its anti-drug special operation campaign in April, the Beijing Evening News reported.

According to the Public Security Bureau, cash prizes will be awarded to the public for providing useful clues to drug-related crimes.

Residents who have something to report can contact the police through: the Beijing Police's Weibo account "Ping'an Beijing," the WeChat account of the Beijing narcotic and hallucinogen control the "Beijing Jindu," and police telephone hotlines.

Through these channels, the police have already received 740 drug-related crime reports and seized 285 suspects.
