Job certifications canceled

The State Council has issued a policy canceling several vocational qualification certificates and business registration procedures which will open up more employment opportunities, the Beijing News reported.

According to the policy, any vocational qualification certificate without the legal grounds from the State Council will be canceled. Eleven vocational qualification certificates are to be canceled, such as the certificate for brand management professionals, certified tax agents, real estate brokers and in-house counselors.

The new regulations also allow the starting of new businesses without the approval from the industry and commerce administration, which is intended to stimulate entrepreneurial enthusiasm.
