A woman peeved with service at banks in Ningbo, Zhejiang province has been venting her frustration by pouring bottles of her urine on ATM machines, local media reported Saturday.
Police officers caught the 43-year-old suspect surnamed Wen as she attempted to douse an ATM with micturated matter on August 7.
Wen told officers she wanted to damage one bank's image after an employee refused to help her fill out a bank transfer form in July despite explaining she was illiterate and could not sign her name.
Working in Ningbo for four years, Wen explained she had wanted to transfer some money to her children in Jiangxi province.
Bank employees explained it is against regulations to sign a form on behalf of a customer.
After several similar rejections at other banks, Wen enacted her revenge by collecting her urine and drenching ATM machines on July 29.
Police eventually tracked down Wen after receiving complaints from numerous bank branches.
No charges have been pressed yet.
