The International Tennis Federation goes live in China

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) launched social media -platforms in China over the weekend.

On Friday, the six-year anniversary of the Beijing Olympic Games, the first ITF social accounts went live in China on Sino Weibo and Tencent WeChat, with its first objective being extensive coverage of the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.

"We have chosen to launch our Chinese social media initiatives on August 8 because it marks the six-year anniversary of the highly successful Beijing Olympic Games," said said ITF President Francesco Ricci Bitti.
