A man was stabbed in the head with a pair of tongs during an argument with his wife in Shangrao, Jiangxi province on August 3.

The victim, who is in his 40s, was rushed to a local hospital to extract the tong buried 4-centimeters deep in his head. Firefighters were first forced to cut the tong so that doctors could operate, local media reported.

Doctors said he only suffered minor wounds and was without any injury to his brain. The victim is said to be recovering well from the ordeal.
