McDonald's restaurants in Beijing reintroduced hamburgers this week, but have revealed little about their new supplier, the Legal Mirror reported.

After the uncovering of the Husi Food scandal which saw McDonald's and KFC selling expired meat, McDonald's temporarily removed meat from its Chinese chains. It now claims it has stopped using all raw-food materials from Husi Food, a company owned by the OSI Group.

A staff member at a McDonald's store in Wangjing, Chaoyang district said, "Although the company has started selling hamburgers again, it still receives fewer customers than before."
